Lois Jeans is a Spanish denim label founded in 1962 by brothers Manuel and Joaquín Sáez Merino in Millares, Valencia. As the first European jeans brand, Lois gained international fame in the 1970s and 1980s with trendy cuts like flared jeans, worn by musicians and athletes such as ABBA, Rod Stewart, Björn Borg, and Johan Cruyff. Unlike the workwear-focused American jeans of the time, Lois emphasized comfort and style. After a period of dormancy in the 1990s, the brand was relaunched in 2014, with its headquarters in Amsterdam while continuing production in Spain. Today, Lois stands for timeless denim fashion with Mediterranean flair and sustainable manufacturing.
